Yes, it’s so unlike me to sport such a trendy, girly piece as this suede button up skirt, but at the same time it’s one of those things that are quite too cute to ignore (and I can’t really complain for $24). Surely unforeseen for me but I’m ok with that plus it was just too perfect of a match with these 70s style platforms.
Style aside, I have been really impressed with the revamped look of Forever 21 – something I once thought was cheap and trendy (but accessible) has actually become elevated (and still accessible). I hadn’t put my money there in about a year, but made three (I repeat 3 separate) risky purchases in the course of one week and to my surprise, I’m keeping every single item. That is truly a rare situation for me. Guess they’ll have me going back more often again. Don’t get me wrong, I still believe in putting money where it needs to be (Hello 25% off Shopbop’s F&F) but a good high and low brew is key!
