I don’t think I’ve ever owned a pair of ballet flats, although practical, I’ve found them to be a little trite and aesthetic-wise, just not my cup of tea. But my favorite purchase this summer has to be these ones by Topshop – 100% leather, super comfy (no breakage required) while encompassing all the important details – I’m particularly noting the lovely, metallic aglets. The laces aren’t annoying or uncomfortable even when wrapped around the ankles multiple times. I’m currently leering at the snake print ones as I write this. *Sigh* I’m very annoyed because I chose to wear these out with the kiddos last night and ended up scuffing a small area by the heel – why oh why did I make such a choice…but I guess it makes a good excuse to snag another one.
