It’s only every once in a while that I’ll bring out heavy duty concealer and for that purpose, my arsenal of choice is Laura Mercier’s Secret Concealer paired with YSL’s Touche Eclat.
Don’t let the emollient formula fool you on the LM, this stuff is high coverage and stays put without feeling extremely heavy. And despite appearing pretty dark in the pot, this peachy shade (#3) counteracts my dark circles perfectly and it also works wonders on disguising spots. I really like this for my parched skin because unlike other heavy-coverage concealers, it’s moisturizing and does not accentuate my dryness. You’d be just fine using this alone esp if you’re like me (#TeamMatchYourConcealerToYourSkin) and fingers really do the trick for that natural, dewy finish (unless you’re concealing spots, then use a brush).
For an added dimension, I like to finish off by *lightly* layering the Touche Eclat over. It adds a subtle brightness that’s just too gorgeous to forget…gives me a glamorous “I’m glowing” feeling if you know what I mean. Very ideal for the no makeup makeup look and all other genres of makeup artistry too.
