It’s been a while since I’ve spoken about beauty although I’ve racked up quite a bit of goods these last few weeks…
I’m in the process of editing a video covering some of these in greater detail but take a rain check for now because editing has been a pain in the ass. Anyway, going back to my updated fall beauty picks… I sometimes feel like the laziest girl in the world in terms of pulling myself together – and I admit that as of late, my physical appearance hasn’t been priority. However, this Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Color in Hibiscus has been everything! It’s a plum wine color (which doesn’t appear true to color in the photos because I’d blot it several times) that everyone seems to love! I actually didn’t feel like it was super special at first, but people have dropped compliments left and right every time I wear it – probably a good sign that I need to wear it more often!
Next up is the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Trio – the products responsible for my intense highlight and contour. Sorry, not sorry if you’re tired of glowy skin…that’s just something I’ll never get away from. I’ve really enjoyed these sticks lately despite the concealer feeling a tad too dry for my taste. They’re super easy to use – just swipe and go. Note that I dabbed the slightest bit of Ilia’s Illuminator (in Sway) over certain areas of the contour to bring some warmth back into my face. Overall, I’m really pleased with how these beauty bits are elevating my complexion.
Then finally, I got some updated nail colors from Chanel (in Vamp & Rouge Red). My nails are the least of my concern – which you can probably tell if you’ve been following me for a while. But I really want to put some effort there because it just looks better obviously. These two colors are the perfect fall beauty update because as you know by now “red” is the official color of the season – and you can never go wrong in the range of oxblood. Yay for having my nails covered for the remainder of the year.
