It’s already been about a month since my last post and so many things have breezed through my beauty stash!
Before we get to the fun stuff though, I want to apologize for the MIA. As I last shared, I’ve transitioned from Nikon to Canon and UPS lost my camera while it was en route, which caused an indelible amount of angst – and huge delays in my social activity. But, I’m glad to be back and [hopefully] on schedule again.
To kick things off, I want to share 5 favorites this month!
Glossier Wowder
It’s been a while since I’ve chimed in on Glossier, but Wowder has definitely been a can’t-stop-reaching for product these last few weeks. First, I can’t stress the practicality of this packaging enough… A loose powder that doesn’t go flying everywhere – that is exactly what I’ve waited my whole life for. The product is held in place by this mesh film and dispenses only what you want and need. I purchased the brush as well and although super cute, practical, and great for travel, it isn’t my favorite applicator. When traveling, I do use this one, but for everyday, I’ll opt for a natural bristled brush. I love how I the product doesn’t settle into the lines underneath my eyes, change my texture, or look flat. All I need is a light application and I’m good for the day!
Dr. Roebuck’s Reverse Aging Serum
The thing I love most about the Dr. Roebuck’s range is how conservative it is in the amount of ingredients all the products contain! I’ve tested hundreds of serums at various price points now, and this one no doubt sits at the top of my favorites list. I personally experienced overnight results and was just thrilled with how much brighter and smoother my complexion looked the next morning. There’s a bit of complaints about how it doesn’t absorb that well, but I loved everything about this product (except the dropper…it’s NOT a deal breaker though). The retinol is gentle enough for all skin types and I really appreciate that it’s infused with borage and primrose oil. I’m currently using this with the Anti-Aging Moisturizer, but want to save that one for another post 🙂
Cosmedix Detox Activated Charcoal Mask
I haven’t talked about Cosmedix enough! I got this product back in Sydney during my IPL treatment, and it’s been the best mask to draw out impurities from my pores. When I get closer to that time of the month and start feeling inundated with white heads and grime, this mask works its magic perpetually. Anything that wasn’t ready for extraction suddenly is! Miraculous!
ILIA Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15
I’ve spoken highly of Ilia countless times on the blog now, and this new Tinted Lip Conditioner just reinforces how I feel! I got the shade Darlin’ and have been obsessed with how it makes my lips look. The wash of color is so subtle yet so perfect – and it succeeds in delivering maximum hydration! I wish I’d got my hands on these sooner! My bullet actually broke off (boo!), but it’s nothing a little heat can’t fix.
The Ordinary Rose Hip Seed Oil
Full review here, but I can’t praise this oil enough! A few drops of this is crucial during that hormonal period! If you’re battling acne and haven’t found a solution, this might just be your remedy! Just be careful not to get the product too close to your eyes… I made that mistake several times and it really irritated them.
What are you loving this month? Let me know!
