Hailing back from Sydney and back for good!
About 6 weeks back, BioClarity sent me their 3-step skincare regimen to try. This post is long overdue, but on a positive note, I’ve really been able to test the limitations of these products. Like all things, I’m always a skeptical one, but down to put anything to the test when it bodes to resolve my acne problems. The catch was I couldn’t use anything else, but these 3 products… I cheated a little and added my own toner, but other than that, I committed to the regime twice a day for 6 weeks! Here’s the verdict.
Step 1: Cleanse
I’ve always been a fan of acne-fighting cleansers and this one stood out because it’s non-drying – likely attributed to the green tea and chamomile properties. It’s really effective at washing away dirt and residual makeup (note that I always use micellar water to remove makeup prior to cleansing) but feels nice and gentle. I use this day and night and thoroughly enjoyed it. No complaints here.
Step 2: Treat
I’ve used spot treatments for years now and have never really found a salicylic acid-based one that kept me coming back for more. BioClarity really stepped it up here with maximum strength salicylic acid. Again, the biggest surprise here was that it never left my skin dry, flaky, or irritated. It was unnoticeable under moisturizer and makeup, which was perfect for daily use. I’ve had tons of breakouts these last few weeks and this product has been a huge player in exposing, extracting, and treating them.
Step 3: Restore
Now my favorite of the 3 goes to the restore gel. I’ve always believed that chlorophyll plays a huge role in our skin, so I was thrilled to hear that Floralux is derived from chlorophyll. Now it is scary green in color, but does its job so well. The best result that came out from this was the reduction of scarring. My scars became noticeably lighter and any potential new scars disappeared almost completely. I wish I had stumbled upon this sooner! I’ve worn this under makeup on countless occasions and it never once impacted my skin or wear-time negatively.
Overall, BioClarity did not cure my acne… I honestly don’t think anything can when your breakouts are stress and super hormonal related, but the best you can do is treat your skin and minimize the scarring. That’s where Bioclarity excels. I’m a picker and couldn’t be more grateful for something like the Floralux. If your acne is related to bacteria, then no doubt you’ll love this stuff (probably even more so than me).
BioClarity was kind enough to offer 50% off the first month to my readers with code ‘SUSANH’! It’s regularly $29.95 per month and you always get free shipping.
At that price point, you’re really doing yourself a disservice by not trying it. I’d highly encourage you to give it a go if you’ve been breaking out with no seemingly possible resolution.
