Three weeks ago, I experienced NYC’s blistering cold for the first time in my life and it was not a pleasant feat. So cold it hurts isn’t a hyperbole after all – it really hurt! Quick Update: I’m now close to 3 months in on the job at Zanita Studio and to say it’s been an inspiring, adventurous ride would be a huge understatement. Despite some of the crazy timezone accommodations (no complaints), deadline shifts, and client demands, which are all really unburdensome, the perks are beyond belief. From frequent NYC visits to my first 5-star hotel encounter, I’m in awe! And then next week, I’ll be making my way to Paris – let me emphasize that it’ll be my first ever international flight – but back to Paris, a destination that had formerly existed only in my dreams. Is this real life? Constantly in this bewilderment, but also advising myself that nothing lasts forever – both good & bad so fully immerse in the moment enjoy what you can. I’m not undermining my blessings (or luck as some may say) any less, but just that the constant inquisition should halt.
Anyway, I know I’ve been doing a really shitty job of keeping up with my duties on this side of the Internet, but hopefully next time you visit, it’ll be plastered with dreamy images from next week’s voyage! K, gotta study some rudimentary French phrases now, talk soon!
